LLCC Library Search & Discover

This guide will demonstrate how to use the library's discovery interface, LLCC Library Search & Discover, as well as I-Share, which uses the same platform.

Viewing an Item's Details and Accessing the Item

To view an item in more detail, click on the item's title in the results list.  For physical items, you will see information such as its author(s), availability, location, and call number (circled in red below).  If the item is available at LLCC Library, you can place a hold request by clicking on the "Request" button (circled in green below) and filling out a short form. 

When you choose to look at the item details for an electronic resource, you'll be able to see that it is available online (circled in red below) as well as what databases provide access to this item (circled in gold below).  Additionally, if you are viewing an electronic journal, you can search for articles within this journal by typing your terms directly in the search box (circled in green below).
