Interlibrary Loan

This guide demonstrates how you can acquire books, articles, videos, and other materials from other libraries.

Book Access During the Pandemic

Links to books in the LLCC catalog may refer to print resources that are not currently available for check-out. However, the online catalog also contains numerous e-books that are accessible to LLCC students and staff from off-campus.

Using our Interlibrary Loan Services

Sometimes the library doesn't have an article that you need.  Our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services are available to help you acquire these materials.  This guide is designed to teach you how to use these services.  If you are looking for copies of articles or book chapters, EBSCOhost and WorldCat are the two best services that LLCC library offers.  Links to these resources can be found below.

If you are looking for articles, EBSCOhost allows you to search many more databases and journals than WorldCat.  Finally, if you are looking for a specific book or article and none of these resources seem to work, contact me.  My phone number is 217-786-2358, or you can email me at  I will be happy to help you find the information you need.
