Interlibrary Loan

Once you have clicked on the I-Share button, a form will appear to finalize your request.  The details of the item (circled in green below) will automatically be filled out.  You can also select your Preferred Pickup Institution (circled in gold below).  This will allow you to pick up the item at any I-Share library.  The default is to pick up the item at LLCC.  If you choose to pick up your item at LCCC, you can also choose your Preferred Local Pickup Location (circled in red below).  The default is to pick it up at the Main Campus Library, but you may also pick it up at the Beardstown, Jacksonville, Litchfield, or Taylorville locations.

Once you have placed your request, you can expect your item to arrive at the LLCC Library in approximately 5-7 days, and you will receive an email notification on its arrival.  If you would like your item sent to a different LLCC Location other than than the Main Campus (i.e., Beardstown, Jacksonville, Litchfield, or Taylorville), it will take a few more days to arrive at that location.
